Proteas dismiss New Zealand in style

South Africa vs New ZealandSouth Africa won their match against New Zealand in style, to get their ICC Champions Trophy campaign back on track with a five-wicket victory over New Zealand on Thursday.

Having lost the tournament opener to Sri Lanka by 55 runs, a further defeat would have proved terminal to the Proteas' hopes of making it to the semi-finals.

South Africa captain Graeme Smith opted to field after winning the toss at Centurion, a decision that was fully justified as Wayne Parnell picked up 5-57 to help bowl out New Zealand for 214 in 47.5 overs.
