Sandiso (South Africa) -Face of Africa 2008 top 10 FinalistThe last of M-Net's Face of Africa 2009 casting auditions will be hosted at the Shine Studios, 1st floor, Corner Henri and Smit Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg South Africa on 23 September 2009 from 9am.

Casting auditions were held in 14 African countries - Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe with the last search stopping in Ghana and South Africa on the same day of the 23rd.

The prize for the new season is set at US$50,000 from M-Net plus a modelling contract with O Model Africa, which is headed by the first Face of Africa winner, Oluchi Onweagba.

Hopeful contestants who make it through the auditions will proceed in the competition to Model Boot Camp during which time the top 10 finalists will be chosen. They will then head into the M-Net Face of Africa 2009 finale in Nigeria in February 2010.
